Im so sorry for your lose. I to had to put my best friend to sleep in Sept of 08. I was devastated and I still miss him so much. Spooker was my cat and my best friend! Try not to feel to quilty about what you did. I know thats hard because I had the same feelings.My vet told me the greatest gift we can give our pets is to be pain free, but with that decision we then feel the pain.I guess that is what makes making that decision so hard.Tawney knew that you loved her and that is so important.What helped me deal with all these emotions were 2 books written by a man named Gary Kurz calles Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates and When your pet dies by Alan D Wolfelt.Gary also has a web-site where you can e-mail him tell him your story and he e-mails you back really fast.He will help you understand and deal with every thing you are going thru now. He has helped many many people with these emotions.Its not an easy thing to deal with.His web site is www.coldnosesbook.com and his email adress is gkurz007@aol.com.
