Subject: My Dearest Murphy

My dear kitty cat Murphy had to be put to rest on 5/17/2008 for the final time after giving me 17 years of nothing but true, unconditional love. It hurt deeply to sing "Rock-a-bye Kitty" to him as I watched him close his eyes. He may be gone from this earth, but I know he's comfortable now and will welcome me with open paws when I come calling. Rest in peace, Dearest Murphy. You were the greatest.
