I just read your article about your cat, please tell me when the pain stops., burdi was 8, I adopted her 3 1/2 years ago, her owner had died, and she had grieved down from 13 lbs, to 5. I loved her back to life, she was my husbands and my constant companion, and so beautiful. She was so spoiled., She had uti infections over and over, and every 2-3 months it wwould attack her again, We did the diet for stones, science diet for urinary tract, everything, right down to the natural antibiotics, Memorial day, it seemed like an ordinary day, then she began to cry and hold her little leg up in pain, I went to her potty and found blood again in her urine. I had already suspected it was back due to the urination getting smaller. I felt she was so stressed by the vet visits, the exams, squeezing her little painful bladder for urine samples, and popping pills, that I could not longer put her through it, and I let her go., She is buried in our back yard, she was a house cat, never outside, slept between our pillows at night, how do I go on,,,I feel guilty, should have tried harder, i want her back and i cannot undo yesterday, the grave hurts me, hubby offered to move her to our other property, but I know it would hurt him to move her, what do I do, when do I stop crying, and when does the hole in your heart go away., I cannot get another animal, it hurts me to bad to let them go., I am so sorry for your loss, I am experiencing what you felt. thank you for listening.
