Subject: Loss of my Golden

He was my best friend for the past 10 years. He and I became very close when I lost my job 5 years ago. I started a company which allowed me to work out of my home. He was always beside me while I worked at my desk. When he would want to me to take a break and give him a rub he would come and lay his head on my lap. He was always so good to the grandchildren when they would visit as they would stick there fingers in his ears and nose and eye. He would never move away or show any anger toward them or anyone ever. I miss him so very much. I see the spot he would lay which is now empty. Just like the feeling in my heart. I wish him peace and cannot thank him enough for the joy he brought me. It is sad humans cannot treat each other the way a pet treats his owner. Every day when I would come home from work he would great me with a big grin and waging tail and always, always happy to great me that way every single day. We all should treat each other in the same manner.....he was such a great companion and supporter for me.
