I had to put my Simba down on Saturday after 8 years of living with the most affectionate stray. My other two cats dont know what has happened and cannot help me. My Simba was like my soul mate as he knew I had saved his life. I cried most of the weekend and was quite sick. However my other cats need me and deserve the love I had given to Simba. If I didnt have another furry child at home I would soon get one just to survive this ordeal. They are not a replacement as no one can replace Simba and no one can replace your Levi but think of the love you can give another poor animal that has no one to love it. My Simba fort so hard to survive when he was abandoned 8 years ago and I was so lucky he came into my life. Think of the love you can give another cat and dont compare them to your love bug Levi as they are all different. They say you should wait a year before you get another pet in the house. Out of respect for your love one but I think that is too hard because with another cat you must focus on that new addition and they will love you in there own way.
good luck you are not alone. I am talking to my boy and telling him how he has stolen my heart and that I cannot live with out him. What else can you do
