Dear Lisa, How are you doing since you lost your little dog?What a horrible way to see your fur baby go.I just had to have my dog Lucky put to sleep on May 5th and it was so hard,but it must be worse to see your baby hit by a car.I am so sorry,my heart is with you.Last August I lost my horse Boomer after a terrible bout of colic.His intestine ruptured and he dropped dead in his field right in front of me.It was awful,as the vet thought he had improved a lot since the previous day,and an hour after he checked him,he dropped dead.I had him 14 years,a few months longer than Lucky.When we moved out of the provence 14 years ago May 14th our animals moved with us,now they are both gone.I wish I did not get so attached so it would not hurt so much when we lost them,but then again if we did not feel the pain the companionship would not mean nearly so much.I do hope you are doing better.Take care.Susan.
