Subject: MY BEST FRIEND

To, my little darling NEB, my best friend who I lost 2 years ago.I miss you so much, when I first got you from the rescue centre , you were a poor little scrap,I could count every rib on you! You sat with your head bowed and shivered uncontrollably, we loved each other at first sight,and for the next 10 years of your life we were inseprable,I took you to nice hotels, lovely beaches, walks,Iwanted you to have the best of everything, to make up for the twoyears that were spent in misery.Old age took its toll, you had a bad heart, eventually epileptic fits, after one particularly bad one , Iknew you couldn't go on, so I took you on our final journey together,my heart was breaking,but it was the right thing for you my darling.Iheld you in my arms right to the end,as your little body lay there,my heart broke,and has never truly mended.I am looking for another little friend now but you will ALWAYS be in my heart xxxxxxxxx
