Subject: Sheena

Sheena passed away on Thursday July 3,2003 at the age of 18 years. She was such a precious baby girl. Her calico markings were beautiful, and her emerald green eyes were like jewels. Sheena had been slowing down for some time and we knew the end would be near, but that didn't make it any easier. The ache in our hearts doesn't seem to want to go away. I sometimes hear her call to me, and when I look around I realize that it's just my imagination. Coming through the front door I can see her sitting there to wait to greet us with a meow. The pain of losing her is great, so I keep myself busy. Sometimes she stops by to tell me she's okay now.
We will have a service in our backyard for her and plant a rose bush in her place to memorialize her.
We love you so very much Sheena, and know in our hearts that you are jumping and playing free of pain and sickness.
