Hi, I read you message about "Puppy" and was so touched. I am so sorry about your loss. Maltese are very special. I know because I lost one too. The only advice that I can give is too get another puppy as soon as possible. It is the only way that I could begin to get over my grief. Don't try to be brave and go through a "mourning" period by yourself...the healing process will be so much faster with a new little one to care for and to love you back.

p.s. I ended up getting a cocker spaniel puppy and she's been wonderful!
