Subject: please help

Right yesterday my cat had 2 kittens and she took care of them well and then for no apparent reason last night she startied biting them and dragging them with there neck and it was obviouse it was hurting them,i was wondering if this was due to the fact that last night her 3rd baby was on its way and she lost it.So could this be the reason for her hurting her kittens,if anybody knows i wud be really greatfull and sorry about all the spelling ,mistakes i am knackerd (cat sitting)thanx
