Subject: Lost our best friend

Today we had to send our dog of 17 yrs, "Sting", on his way. He had a lot of medical problems through his short life but he was a tough cookie. He was blind but he could find a cotton ball in a gymnasium!! He had a bad heart, some cognitive disorder, arthritis. Over the last 2 weeks his mobility had gotten so bad. He would barely move and I carried him everywhere: to his water, outside, to his food, to bed. He was just enduring life, not enjoying it. So the hard decision was made and my husband and I were there in the end. He left this world with our voices"We Love You". He gave us unselfish love and it was our duty to do the same.

To all who have lost, I lost a special friend 8 yrs ago and was just distraught. I can tell you the pain does get better and it is replaced with great memories. Our friends will always be in our hearts.
