My 5-year-old golden is dying of cancer and I think I may have a few weeks left. I am devastated he is my dream dog and just what I always wanted in a friend and companion. I wouldn't change one thing about him. I am barely keeping myself together and cry lots every day. Don't know I will get through it but it has to be done. It's comforting to know one's not alone and to know others feel as deeply about their pets.
