thank you i felt much better when i got your reply i had been realy worried about her being put to sleep as i could not go i just would have upset her and i did not want that i felt she was hurting enough she was a very special dog and i loved her so much i supose it will take a long time to ease but i will always remeber her i also know how you must be devestated about your cat as i lost my own when he was 17 that was three years ago but i have lots of good memories of him i hope you have to once again thank you foe replying as it has helped me understand what it was like for her i could not watch her die although i wanted to be there with her i felt i let her down at the end
