Hi,

I have had some really sad days when trying to not fall apart was my main goal. It's been 10 days since I said good-bye to my Kudo and my days are getting a bit easier. I still cry on occasion, but I don't feel the overwhelming sadness as much anymore. Picking up his ashes was a difficult moment, putting them in his urn even more difficult. In a way I feel comfort that he is back home with me. When my other 15 year old siamese leaves me, I plan to take the ashes of both and release them to the earth. I really hope that you are doing better. Letting go is so painful at first. A friend said to me the other day..."If everything lived forever, the value of it would be lost." There truly is a greater plan at work here. May you be blessed and find peace with your loss. Karen
