Hi, Losing a pet is so painful. My 15 year old Siamese died in my arms at the vet's November 3rd and for about 10 days I was barely able to function at work. I was so overwhelmed, sad, teary. I felt so miserable. It does get better, but it doesn't feel like it will at the beginning. They are so precious and such a special part of our lives. What a special one your Buster was! Two days ago my other 15 year old Siamese was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure and I will start fluid injections soon. They are so special---it's so hard to know when to say good-bye. You are grieving now, but take solace in the fact that Buster doesn't have to suffer anymore. He is now a part of all that is beautiful around you. I so wished that I could touch him once again, hold him tight and tell him how much I loved him, but I did that every day of his life. I am starting to be able to remember the happy times now with a smile that is not tinged with pain. I hope that these easier days come quickly for you. Karen
