Subject: Passing of my beloved Basset Hound, Jake

Jake was born in our home and he died here on September 30, 2003 from kidney failure. I miss his sniff at the door when we come home. I miss gently patting him as I sit on the couch.I miss hearing him "sing". I miss his many little
things that made him the most unique dog I have ever owned. He was my best friend, my confidant and my buddy and no other dog can ever take his place. My friend is gone but I know we will meet again someday in heaven. I love you so very much Jake. Rest in peace my faithful friend.
