sorry to hear of your loss i went through the same 4 weeks ago my dog was suffering badly and i had to gether put down t tore me to pieces but at least she is not in pain anymore i tried to keep her with me so i asked the vet to give her steroids and it took all the pain away for 8 weeks she was back to herself and then she relapsed it was awful now although i had her for another 8 weeks i think it would have been better to have her put down before she got the steroids but i was being selfish i wanted to keep her with me i must ad when she was on the steroids she was like a pup again but they only last a while please dont feel bad about having your dog put down i am sure like myself you would have given anything o keep him
