hi there, i'm so sorry about your cat perhaps you'll find some comfort in my response. three days ago i watched my cat phoebe get hit by a car and as i ran out to pick her up, there was an incredible amount of blood coming out of her mouth. as my neighbor rushed me to a vet i thought for sure she would die in my arms from internal bleeding or shock. as it turned out she lost two teeth to traumatic head injury and a dislocated jaw. she is here home with me now. but very weak and afraid. a different cat indeed. i don't know that she will survive,i can't help thinking that she is perhaps slowly dying everyday. so even though she is still alive ,the pain and blame from the accident is ever so with me and her. stay strong and know that love is not measured in time or quanity. to have experienced it....real love, giving or recieving is to touch god. you were good to your little friend and he to you. think how many people on this planet have not experienced what you have in a short time with a cat. your cat is fine now and you will find him again. keep your eyes and your wonderful heart open. oh and how will you recognize him again?....with that open loving heart that brought you to your cat in the first place.... peace
