I am so sorry to hear of Fluffy's passing. Have you visited the poem, "The Rainbow Bridge?" It's wonderful and helped me through some tough weeks after my companion, Jenny left. Of course you will be depressed for some time. I was quite a mess for weeks after my girl's departure. Everything reminded me of her.
Grieving is helpful, but trust me, it will not last forever. It does lessen in time, tho never goes completely away...at least for me. It has been 2 months for me and now I try to remember the good times we had together. I try to forget the last visit to the vet. I have rescued a new dog. He is not Jenny, but is a pet that needs love and attention.
I am sure that you would wish joy and happiness for Fluffy and Fluffy would want the same for you. So consider getting a new pet. It is not a replacement, and is not a dishonor to Fluffy. It does not mean you loved Fluffly any less and I'm sure Fluffy would want you to love once again.
