Just because someone advertises on Voy doesn't mean they're sitting on their butts. Just because a director advertises here, doesn't mean that she's not recruiting in person as well. A true business woman uses ALL of her resources. That includes offline AND online resources. You're on Voy right now, so according to your logic, that would mean that you love to gossip just because you're here. Making blanket statements like that isn't fair, in my opinion. While not everyone on Voy is competing, there are quite a few women on here that are or plan to again in the future and are looking for pageants to enter. I actually haven't competed in almost 8 years. But if I see a pageant advertised on Voy, I'm not going to think anything of it or the director. Once upon a time, Voy was the only place you could go to find out about pageants...before Facebook, Twitter, etc. I actually think Facebook is a lot worse! But that's just my opinion.
