I don't get your post. Hunsting for deer is legal in many states and necessary to reduce the deer population in certain areas, as they become over run with them and create massive automobile accidents, etc. Guns are legal for hunting and hunting is legal in numerous states, so please tell me why this is offensive? Sorry, but if she is a registered gun owner with a permit to hunt deer, what is the problem. You make it sound as though she is glamourizing the gun, which I am sure is not the case. Regardless in my view, a pageant queen is in a role model position and young women and girls are looking to "sisters in pageantry" to represent peace? Just tell me how peaceful it is to see a bleeding dying animal in a photo? Two things come to mind with this post. One someone does seem to be trying to draw negative attention to someone once again on a voy board which is sad. The other is this was a news topic not to long ago so putting any particular person aside, it would be an interesting question to answer in an interview room. I personally am a hypocrite. I eat meat, love meat but told my husband I would divorce him if he ever went hunting. It's just the idea of him killing anything. It is an interesting debate. (NT) Bambi 11/02/14 Sun
