Subject: Agree. Even my own poor husband has to pay, after he forked out the whole entry fee. Then I have to suck it up and tell him to get in the door it's another $50? come on, Directors, give us a break. Please, no whining about how much it costs to produce. Build it into the entry fee or something. Along with these ridiculous "mandatory" ads for hundreds of dollars, you aren't fooling anyone and you're killing off contestants one by one. Subject Author Date As a former Director, I paid $6-8k for a quality production, so it does cost a lot. Why does it matter if built into the entry fee? Then you would complain about the high entry fee. It's the SAME thing.AD page is for your sponsors and family acknowledgement, so use it as a business woman and make money on selling ADs to pay for entry fee. That's what I did when I competed.
