Thank you for this excellent idea. I decided to start a collection, and scoured the children's toy boxes for small toys and object, finding snakes, bats, dolls and even a plastic apple! Then I tried to find some bags. I really did't want to spend too much money, and so was delighted when I came accross some "smart price" wash bags in Tesco for just 23p each! I emptied the shelf, and then spent the next day painting the letters on the front with fabric paint. I included "ph" and "ch" etc. All I have to do now is fill them all, as some bags are still rather empty! The children love playing with these bags, and my nine year old loves scouring the jumble sales with me for items to put in them!
