At the moment many teachers are desperate for support with the teaching of synthetic phonics, especially Letters and Sounds, so I decided to set up a website to provide some of the resources they have been looking for. Much (but not all) of the site is specifically written to support Letters and Sounds. Consultants involved in improving the teaching of phonics in schools and local authorities may also find documents on the site that would be useful when doing training and in school support. The web address is: www.lesleyclarkesyntheticphonics.co.uk I am going to be adding lots more to the site in the next few months, including a recommended resources section. If there are any resources which you think teachers would particularly like to help with their teaching, please click on the wish list tab on the site and send in your ideas.
