An activity that I find useful for learners that prefer the tactile approach is getting the children to use sponge and water to write down letters on the wall or ground. The children love this activity as it is a fun outdoor activity. Besides this, I have also tried giving the children, big (A4) laminated sheets of alphabets and some beads or beans which they can manipulate or arrange to make the given letter.
