Hello, My dad was a member of the "Original" 11th Air Assault Division in Ft.Benning, GA. From Feb. 1963-Sept. 1965. He said that in July 1965 it was changed to 1st CAV Air Mobile. SPE4 Arthur Rogers Jr. Headquarters CO. His MOS was Medic for Drop Zones before he became Airborne. He was also a Life Guard who taught Rangers to jump with full Field gear as well as a member of the Crash Rescue Team. He was also a Repelling Instructor. His barracks was in Harmony Church, Ft.
