Warwick School beat Barnard Castle 24-23 in the Daily Mail Schools U-18 Cup Final at Twickeham on Wednesday. The team was:
Mike Stevens; Edward Gillespie, Tom Grimes, Charlie Hayter (captain), Sam Miller; Ryan McCrickerd, William Matthews; Christoper Kroeger, Sam Collins, Joshua Greig, Bruce Storey, Jamie Collins, David Askew, William Turner, Christopher Cathcart. Replacements: Thomas Maggs, Guy Gilleard, Sean McCarthy, Ed Dixon, Mike Hazelton, Joshua Beebee, James Williams.
I don't know if any of these guys, or their Kiwi coach Mark Nasey, are known to people in the Club, but they would be ideal recruits for next season (or the one after that), even if they do go on to universities.
