Hi my name is Joe.I'm in need of tracing my grandmother.it showes in the 1911 census she was adopted by Francis and Anne Whitebear from Bearisland Temagami.Need info on her real parents.She was a Commanda dit Grandlouis.her first name was Elizabeth.She married Daneil Petrant from Bearisland in 1921.It is the grandmothers history I need.So any info would help a great deal.BearIsland does not seem to no where she came from. She was most definatly is native.
