Your query suggests you have more information about Lida who married Mr. Duby (probably Dubay?). Her death certificate, application for Social Security (if she lived past 1937) and her marriage record would all include the names of her parents and I would get all three as soon as possible. The obit of her husband might also reveal information about her. Canadian censuses for 1881, 1891 and 1901 in the areas you mention might also be helpful. I think it's best to research this using standard genealogical methods, first. When you have established the family in Quebec, the nearest Indian reservation or settlement may figure in the family history. Check Catholic church records in the area(s) where she lived. You can find church records for the areas you mention in the Library Catalog online at <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.familysearch.org">http://www.familysearch.org</a> and order the film of the record at your local LDS family history center.
