 (Claude) Charles Gautier de Verville was born February 3, 1738, in Mackinac, MI, to Claude St. Germain Gautier de Verville and Marie Louise Therese Villeneuve (half Ottawa).
All I know of his daughter was that her name was Catherine Gautier, her mother was supposedly a Sioux slave belonging to an uncle of Charles Gautier by the name of Charles de Langlade and that she married Jean Baptiste Brunet.
