 I recieved this from my grandfather Oscar Genereux's nephew Marcel He states that Joseph Généreux, son of Joseph Généreux and Angelica Rival-Bellerose, married 22 April 1828, in Ste. Elisabeth, Joliette County P.Q. to Managamet Shawana, Indian nation of Ojibwa, I' lle Manitou, Upper Canada. thats what i deciphered it was in french.
Below is the exact copy I recieved:
Joseph Généreux, fils de Joseph Généreux et Angélique Rival-Bellerose, marié le 22 a 1828, à Ste. Elisabeth conté de Joliette P.Q. à Managamet Shawana, Indienne nation des Ojibwa, de I’lle Manitou, du haut Canada.
