Does anyone know where to find proof that these people existed around Muncie, IN? I'm the administrator of my family's genealogy and would like to know where to look for info. The government changed their names to English names around 1860-1870. The ones that didn't own land at the time were moved west somewhere. I do know "The Munsee" were supposed to be part of the Miami tribe that lived all around Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Please email me if you have any idea how or where I could find any documents on this. thanks.
