 I am researching the Bruce family, specifically John Bruce and his son Joseph (born around 1866). I have Joseph Bruce on the Dakota census from 1880 to 1920. It states that he was born in Canada, but I don't know what region in Canada to look for the family in. Is anyone out there researching this line? Joseph was married 3 times, first to a Mathilda Grandbois, then to a Mary Jane Bourassa, then to a Josephine (last name unknown). I am interested in his daughter Rose Ann who married into the Bartlette line. Any help would be appreciated.
