Subject: I'm the "Coupon Queen". Click in for my tips....
In reply to: 's message, "survey: how much do you spend on groceries? where do you shop and for how many?" on 10:10:31 09/02/08 Tue

I live in the North, where I think things cost twice as much because we live near NYC...We do not have Super Wal-Marts in my state because of some agreement with the meat packers union...Whatever??I clip A LOT of coupons but it's worth it and I do not limit myself to one store. I shop between the "Shop-Rite" and the "Pathmark". I look through their flyers and look at my coupons then I go where I'm going to get the best discount. Also, I shop "more" on triple coupon days.I also go to coupons.com, where you can find coupons for your favorite items right online. Also, if you like certain name brand items you can go to their websites and most have a link to print out a coupon for their products.I go to the farmer's market for fresh fruit and vegetables...I feel in our area they have the best deal. I also go to the butcher for meat and buy in bulk (I have a large freezer). It cost more in the beginner but if you break it down per pound the butcher's cheaper!
Hope this helps...good luck!!
