Hey Donna -

Welcome aboard, and thanks for the great post!

Since Brianna seems curious about smoking and has held a cig., she will surely be trying to smoke SOON. It will probably be a better experience for her to smoke first with you or her cousins than under a pressured situation, so you should let her feel comfortable about trying a cig. if she wants to. If she enjoys it, then you'll have a new smoker in the house.

Then, if Jennifer's interested in smoking, she will follow soon, too. If one or both parents smoke, it's difficult to enforce a no-smoking rule. Your kids will probably be resentful, and may sneak around smoking, anyway.

Now, if you decide to quit smoking, you may have a fighting chance with your kids. Is that a possibility?

Just my thoughts - I may be totally off base.
