Subject: No Oldies from the 50's

I am a native New Yorker who has enjoyed WCBS 101.1 since the early days and before 101.1 was the item, I listened to Murray the K, Alan Freed and before that the old Martin Block Make Believe Ballroom.
Since your return I have not heard any of MY MUSIC FROM THE 1950's. I can listen to any number of radio stations, in New York City, that play the 60'-70's and 80's but I have to tune in to a Long Island Radio Station - 103.1 or 1100AM to find the old music.
Remember there is still a very-very-large portion of the listening audience who are in my age group mid to late 60's who want the OLD MUSIC PLAYED> the Platters, Flamingo's,The Dubs, The Dell-Vikings, The Tokens, The Solitaries, and so on. YOU KNOW THE GROUPS>
So how about it? Do you also cater to the Old timers like myself, or do we go back to the Long Island Station?????

A reply would be greatly appreciated.
