I agree that the CBSFM will have to play 70's and even 80's in order to attrach younger listeners necessary for advetising dollars. Still while CBSFM will focus on the period 1965 - and up, there is no reason why they couldn't mix in Elvis, and other 50's rockers - especially Dion as has always been so identified with this station.

I also think that on a weekly basis, a 50's show similar to Don K Reed's doo wop shop should work on Sunday nights. These specialty shows would showcase a period of music that younger audiences should be made aware of and given the chance to hear, and acknowledge the audience that has supported CBSFM for 35 years.

I'm so glad CBSFM is back! I will be listening at work and home on radio or computer. This is NY radio the way its meant to be!
