Subject: random thoughts on the new 101

I agree with alot of the people posting here, including holly. ive been listening since I was 7 years old!! It was always on in my fathers car, but think carefully!!! where were you when you tuned into 101.1 and found " jack fm " and how shocked and angry were you???. I was on the cross island coming home from upstate visiting my uncle!!! which was a ritual for me since god knows when??. anyway my point is the radio station is back!!! with the same old jingles, mr G Bob shannon etc.. lets face it jack could still be on!!!!! Believe me I miss the fifties, Don K Reed sundays, friday night fifties, etc. maybe we can all write and bring back these things, and compromise. I would be happy with the format now along with the specialty shows as mentioned like the old days so to speak!!! I dont think that ever affected anyone as far as ratings. Lets just be happy the stations back!!!!!! and not be so critical. just think of what station you were listening to thursday @ 1:00 pm
