Oh Mark I would really love that. The time that the station switched over was so odd for me & I wasn't sure WHAT I was hearing at the time. I was literally in the car driving & I'd dropped off a group of kids & I'd had their music station blarring in my face when I'd turned it down a bit & then switched to WCBS & started for home. I cannot remember where I'd been taking the kids I think it was to work but it was afternoon & I had to stop at the deli to get milk & I'd turned off the car when a really great song was playing & when I got back in I was getting static & garbled stuff & I was really annoyed with the kids & there was construction around me & I thought that it was just interfering with the radio wavs & so without knowing I'd never hear them call those letters again I turned off the radio ............ I had been home for like an hour or so I thought & all of a sudden I couldn't find WCBS but just some weird thing saying it was "Jack" & I just thought that it was a problem with the air wavs. I had no idea just how bad the problem with the air wavs really was! Anyway it just never felt like anyone was even given a heads up & there was no sign off or preparing etc. It was a tough time. LOL I'd love tohear that last day & I think it would make sense of it or make it more clear.
