It was an excellent show. Just the fact that CBS has brought back a countdown show is kind of miraculous in itself. Wonder why? Did they do research?

I just wish people posting here who disagree weren't so angry or bitter with each other. I mean, it's not life and death.

I will say, if the station tries to avoid any link to its 50s music heritage like the plague, it's simply silly and childish. I mean Don K. Reed is a good guy. He gave the station his best from day 1 of the original format in July 1972. Ditto Bill Brown.

But have you heard either Brown or Reed welcoming back "the New CBS FM." I don't think so - at least yet - and that's kind of sad. I may be wrong on that. Hope I am.
