I am almost 32 years old and have been listening to CBS-FM (not including the Jack period) from roughly 1985 to the present. My father introduced me to the Doo Wop music along with the '50s and early '60s and it left a great mark on me musically. When the Doo Wop Shop closed in 2002, it was a sad day for me. That was an utter travesty, along with the cancellation of Bobby Jay's Soul of the City and Jukebox Saturday Night shows. I do hope CBS-FM will have the sense to resurrect some of those great specialty shows, especially the Doo Wop Shop. Bobby Jay was an impeccable substitute for Don K. Reed when the situation arose and Bobby's knowledge of the music and artists, along with the rarities he played, made Sunday nights special.

Guess we will have to wait and see what happens...
