I coulnd't believe after 30 years that WCBS would be no more, so imagine my delight when I heard that they were coming back. I too am very disappointed that 50s music has been eliminated and also agree it's due to the demographics. As a 40-something who grew up listening to WCBS, I was introduced to all the great groups of my parent's era and I learned to appreciate what came before my generation's music. I am sorry that younger generations won't be able to experience the same thing. Rather than turn me off, it made me want more.
