I made my decision to move on from CBS-FM two years before Black Friday, but that doesn't mean I've forgotten where I came from. Like any other loss we experience in life, we grieve then move on. Often, we find that what we move on to is even better.

How about some of these that I've heard on Sirius lately? "Can't Do Sixty No More" by The DuDroppers, likely an answer to Joe Turner's "Sixty Minute Man". This wasn't on Doo Wop Gold, but during the afternoon. Another one, "This Is Love To Me" by The Dubs, this time in the early evening. I'm not sure even Don K Reed ever spun those on CBS-FM, ever. He probably wouldn't have been allowed to.

How about this contrast? Last Wednesday, The Cuz played two versions of "Juke Box Saturday Night", the big band original by Glenn Miller from 1942, then the rock 'n' roll version by Nino & The Ebb Tides from 1961. Could that ever have happened on CBS-FM? NOT!!!!
