Thank goodness that Joel Hollander was shown the gate out of CBS Radio, and it should have done much quicker than that. As far I am concerned, I personally blame him for destroying the last true New York City music-personality radio station.

Best of luck to his successor Dan Mason taking over the reins there soon, but I guess that Hollander already made the unrepairable damage done for the primary 101.1 frequency. Meanwhile, while oldies will probably remain stuck on the HD-2 channel, I have since move on to other media outlets in listening to music, such as Bob Shannon on "The Breeze" streaming online, Mark Simone on WABC's "SNO" and Al Warren/John LaBarca from WICC-AM Bridgeport.
