There will likely be changes to JACK-FM, but I doubt it will return to oldies as we knew CBS-FM in the 80s and 90s. Remember this is New York, where listener research means nothing. The only changes that will happen on 101.1 are those that please Wall St bankers and Madison Ave ad agencies, not the listening audience.

CBS Radio will never admit they made a huge mistake when they blew up oldies on 101.1. They'll do anything to justify it. Whatever comes next on 101.1 will be Madison Ave and Wall St friendly and nothing else.

The #1 market will keep the distinction of having the WORST music stations in the country.
