Alan - I don't understand your excitement. You say oldies will return Thursday. I read the release. The word "oldies' was never used. What I got out of it is that they are introducing a new "classic hits" format using two personalities from the defunct oldies format and a third dj, Bill Lee who I heard of, but never listened to. He does not have an oldie backround. Everything is back to where it was June 3rd, 2005 - except for Mickkey Dolenz! We are not getting back our music (just a bone to keep the old geezers happy and lots of 70's & 80's). There was a rumor that they would put oldies music on their HD2 channel. But guess what is going there - Jack! So Jack didn't hit the road after all. He's just blocking a spot where they might have played oldies. In other words, they are still playing what they want - not what we want. To those of you who are happy about these turns of events, I am happy for you. As for yours truly, I am not disappointed because I was expecting them to pull something like this. It's back to the same business as usual, Sirius and cds.
