Subject: A Day of Celebration

As I type this message, it is Thursday morning on the East Coast and less than 12 hours before the return of CBS-FM.

Today is a day where we should celebrate. Take a little time out of your busy day and toast to CBS-FM, the personalities that will be heard, the music and you.

If you were one of those that felt that somehow the station could come back and you kept positive thoughts in your head and made your feelings known about the importance of this station, congratulate yourself.

If you attended the rallies or contacted advertisers or the station and made your feelings known, you should feel really good today.

The only reason I thought CBS-FM might not return is that by doing this, the company would have to admit they made a mistake. Well by taking this important step, they have and they acknowledge that 101.1 FM is more than just a radio station. It is a part of the life style and framework of the Tri State Area and it is a change that is being watched all over the world.

So congratulate yourself. You are experiencing a significant day in broadcasting and in your life. Enjoy!
