It still was wrong. I have been listening to New York radio going back to WINS when it was a music station. Every station I have listened to allowed their DJ's to say goodbye to there loyal listeners. This includes WABC, WMCA, WINS, WHN, WWDJ and WNEW-FM. I don't care what the reason was, It was wrong. Look what Holenders plan got him, a station that is a loser with no future. If you do listen to Jack which I don't, Howard Coogan has got to go. The music on Jack is horrible as well. The only station I know in NY which did not give their DJ's a chance to say goodbye was 105.1 when they dropped Jammin Oldies but CBS-FM was a different situation. CBS-FM had the most loyal audience in NY for 33 Years but what loyalty did Infinity show its listeners and the DJ's? Nothing! You do not tell your staff an hour before the change they are being fired as well as the loyal listeners of 33 years who were not told at all. Infinity got what they deserved.
