You jump to too many conclusions. I didn't say it was done right and I didn't say switching to Jack was the right move.

What I did say was it makes no difference if the CBS-FM DJs got to do a farewell show or not. Most people who listened to CBS-FM would not listen to Jack because the music mix doesn't appeal to them. If they wanted to keep most of the CBS-FM listeners, they wouldn't have changed the format in the first place. If they had given the CBS-FM DJs a week-long salute, the Doo Wop Shop crowd still wouldn't listen to Jack because it's not a music format they want.

If you're not listening to the station, it doesn't matter how you feel about the station. That makes no sense. That's like saying I really like the way Pathmark stores look, but I don't spend a dime there.
