Alan, I absolutely agree, New York has the WORST stations in the country. The formats and playlists are limited because it is completely advertiser controlled. All the FM stations are marketing tools for the advertisers. About the only New York station I listen to with any frequency is WFAN, since they have Mets and Giants games.

I have Sirius with Cousin Brucie, Norm N. Nite and Don Tandler so I'm not holding my breath for any New York station to flip to oldies. We all know why it won't happen. It isn't fair to oldies fans who don't want satellite radio, but that's just the way New York radio is in 2006.
